Gold-Laced Wyandottes

Gold-Laced Wyandottes are a dual-purpose heritage purebred chicken that is exceptionally cold hardy, friendly, talkative, long-lived, and hard working. These beautiful birds are perfect for cold climate family farms and urban backyards where our working animals are part of the family. They lay well and the males can be grown out for the table. Gold-Laced Wyandottes are the only breed we keep at Bedrock and Brambles so you can be sure that the breed is true.

We start hatching chicks late in April and continue until late June. Straight-run (unsexed) chicks are available late in May and cost $8.00 each. We guarantee that all of the chicks we sell will thrive.

Pullets (immature females) may be available beginning in June. Our pullets are typically 7 weeks old when sold, and are guaranteed to be female. They cost $20.00 each.

Our flock is free ranged and fed certified organic grains and mineral premixes.

We don’t take pre-orders, but you can get in touch with us in early May to arrange to buy straight-run chicks and in early June to arrange to pick-up pullets.
